For those with primary hyperparathyroidism, are the symptoms of a parathyroid tumor different from hyperplasia?
Primary hyperparathyroidism can be caused by a benign tumor, multiple benign tumors, or hyperplasia (all four parathyroid glands diseased). The symptoms are all the same.
